CeRamiCa - Ceramics and CRafts Industries' Increased Cooperation

 






 



INTELI has been cooperating with the Municipality of Alcobaça in the framework of the "Ceramics and CRafts Industries' Increased Cooperation" project, supported by the INTERREG IVC.

INTELI produced a SWOT analysis, a guide of best practices, a document on policy recommendations and an action plan for the development of the ceramics and crafts sectors in the Western region. These reports were very useful for some of the project partners which adopted some of the best practices seen in Portugal.

The project ended with a final conference in the city of Hódmezóvasarhely (Hungary) but the partnership continues to collaborate in themes like education, industrial tourism, and local development.


Objectives

Production of local and regional development strategic recommendations oriented to the support of the ceramics and crafts sectors, as creative industries, at European level.

Revitalisation of the ceramics and crafts sectors as part of the cultural heritage of Europe and an engine for local development.

 

Results

Characterisation of the ceramics and crafts sectors as creative industries.

Policy recommendations and strategic orientations for the development of the ceramics and crafts sectors.

Support to the development of the ceramics and crafts sectors in the Western region of Portugal.

Share of information and knowledge among project partners.
