CEIIA AERO
INTELI is the strategic partner of CEIIA to consolidate the automotive engineering expertise and its diversification and deeper knowledge through the aeronautical industry applications. The project aims to create an aeronautical engineering platform for the implementation of the R&D Program with AgustaWestland, as development partner of CEIIA, together with the Ministry of Science, the Academia and the Portuguese industry. The platform is getting on job training and capabilities throughout the R&D program under which innovative solutions are developed (e.g.: aeronautic structures, aerodynamics modeling techniques, new production techniques for composite materials, etc.). The CEIIA Platform and the R&D Program with AW is aimed to be a tool for R&D in aeronautical new products and services, for a period of 5 years (work in progress).
INTERNATIONAL AERONAUTIC COMPANY (IAC) OPERATIONS IMPLEMENTATION IN PORTUGAL
INTELI was awarded by an International Aeronautical Company (IAC), a subsidiary of the International Holding Company, global leader of design and manufacturing in their field of application, to support the planning and implementation of IAC new business in Portugal. The activities of this project include preparing the IAC business case for the expansion of its target activities including maintenance, logistic support and training. INTELI job will focus on market identification and assessment, new site selection and local conditions assessment, detailed business definition, identification of project required resources (facilities, manpower, ICT, engineering, equipment, etc.), investment calculation, national and local incentives to FDI, business case and implementation planning. Furthermore, INTELI is to support IAC in the operations launching by looking for efficient processes through local Portuguese suppliers identification and procurement, Interface with local Portuguese suppliers for business operations, with special focus on engineering activities and producing implementation follow up progress reports to IAC.
EMBRAER PROJECT
This project is aligned with the previously established Strategy for Defense Technology Industrial Base, specifically as concerned with the Portuguese aeronautic cluster development. INTELI is supporting the Defense Procurement Department in bringing the Portuguese cluster together in actions of internal consolidation, capabilities growth and market opportunities, vis a vis the design and manufacturing of structures and IT systems modules for the regional aircraft manufacturer EMBRAER.
