INTELI fosters a deep reflection on the National Defence Strategic Concept and its implications in structuring the national military forces with a special focus on equipment-related needs.

DTIB
Developed by INTELI in partnership with the Portuguese General Bureau for Armaments and Defence Infrastructures (DGAIED), the DTIB project focused on the establishment and implementation of a strategy for developing the national Defence Technological and Industrial Base, through the identification of opportunities for the national participation in systems and equipments to be purchased and by mapping the internal capacities and tools available to meet these goals.

PT AESD
INTELI has been continuously working with the national industry and scientific and technological system which have capabilities and strategic interest in Aeronautics, Space, Security and Defence sectors. In particular, INTELI consistently worked on the development and application of a technological and innovation audit methodology for an expedite mapping of the national technological and industrial base with capabilities in those sectors.

INTELI has been working to boost public procurement as an instrument of innovation and economic development by supporting the definition of the institutional framework for defence procurement and offsets and the definition and management of offsets programs and industrial participation strategies.
