INTELI submitted a Contribution to the EC public consultation on the Green Paper on Creative and Cultural Industries
The European Commission, through the Directorate-General for Education and Culture, launched a public consultation on the Green Paper "Unlocking the Potential of Cultural and Creative Industries".
The objective was to gather views on various issues impacting the cultural and creative industries in Europe, from business environment to the need to open up a common European space for culture, from capacity building to skills development and promotion of European creators on the world stage. The responses to the consultation will inform the Commission and help it ensure that EU programmes and policies involving cultural and creative industries are "fit for purpose". The period of consultation ended last July, 30 (http://ec.europa.eu/culture/our-policy-development/doc2577_en.htm ).

INTELI, within the framework of the URBACT network "Creative Clusters in Low Density Urban Areas" submitted a contribution focused on the role of low density territorial areas in the definition of European creativity-related policies and programmes.

It is worth of notice that the contribution presented by EICI - "European Interest Group on Creativity and Innovation" makes reference to the URBACT Creative Clusters network: http://www.creativity-innovation.eu/fileadmin/_creativity-innovation/downloads/consultation/EICI_response_to_Green_Paper_Unlocking_the_potential_of_CC-205.pdf .
