Nissan and Alliance partner Renault will play a key role as Portugal becomes one of the first countries in Europe to create a mass market for electric vehicles.

Portugal Communications Manager Antonio Pereira Joaquim told us: "The Portuguese Government's vision of an integrated transport strategy for zero emission vehicles is very similar to Nissan's vision so it was very clear from the outset that we could co-operate in various areas.
